Comhluadar - Celtic Wisdom in Conversation

There's an old belief in this tradition that nothing here needs fixing, because nothing was ever broken to begin with. You are already whole, síol, a seed that only ever needed the right conditions to unfurl.

At its heart, this is simple: a conversation, and someone who listens, this is comhluadar - the old word for being kept company properly, by someone who stays with you rather than simply receiving what you say. You don't need to arrive with a goal already worked out, or know what you want, or even what's wrong. You only need to arrive as you are.

That's the whole of it, most of the time, being heard, without needing to explain yourself twice. This might be about a decision you can't make, a marriage that's gone quiet, work that's stopped fitting, a grief that hasn't found its shape yet or it might be about nothing you could put a name to at all. It doesn't need to be spiritual, or Celtic, or big. It only needs to be true.

Occasionally, if something else feels useful in the moment, we might reach for a breath, or a stone to hold, or an essence But that's never the expectation, and never the point. The conversation is the offering. Anything else is only ever additional, and only if it's wanted. What holds it is still rooted in this tradition, even when what's being held is nothing more mystical than an ordinary Tuesday.

This is for the burned out facilitator. The tired teacher. The quiet caregiver. The one who has spent so long tending everyone else that she's forgotten there's a version of care meant for her too.

If it's breath and body specifically you're drawn to, Leigheas Dúchais is built for that. This is for when it's simply conversation and presence you're after.

You're Not Holding This Alone

You're not carrying this by yourself, even within the sessions themselves, I am walking alongside you, not watching from a distance. And beyond our conversations, there's a wider circle too, if you ever want more company than one relationship can hold: Midweek Exhale, Breath Keepers, the Exhale Wisdom School. None of that is required. It's simply there, whenever it calls to you.
